The BBC has an article today about the Flat-Earth Society.
This is not how the Earth looks
Let me say a few things here.
1. These people are stupid
2. Continuing to believe something is true despite all the evidence that says it isn’t is a very unwise thing to do
3. Don’t be like these people

You know, one other thing occured to me about this “flat Earth” nonsense the other day. How do they explain time-zones? The fact that the sun rises at different times in different parts of the world means the world is round. On a flat planet, it would happen everywhere at the same time (well, unless it’s Discworld, but there the magic field slows down light).
