Revisiting Palin

So it turned out my article where I said I would not write more about her until she screwed up again… wasn’t all it should be. Possibly it was a lie? I suppose that depends. To me lying is where you tell people things with an intent to deceive them. I certainly didn’t have that intent. I genuinely hoped I wouldn’t have to say anything more about the woman cause, frankly, I’m sick of her.

On the other hand, the mighty Ms Palin has herself been lying. A lot. When these lies are brought to the surface and exposed, she just ignores the truth and keeps telling the same lies.

Andrew Sullivan has a wonderful vivsecion of this set of lies of hers on his blog, from the “Bridge to Nowhere”, to “Troopergate”. I highly recommend reading over it. It’s very informative, even if you support her. Perhaps especially if you support her.

According to http://deligentia.wordpress.com/2009/11/18/enabling-lies-the-palin-factor/, Palin’s lie about not quitting her job also involves misappropriating hunting language that really doesn’t apply. I agree. I wonder how many people will call her on it?
