My New Plaything

I was watching series two of An Idiot Abroad last night, and hapless Karl Pilkington was visiting Russia, riding on the Trans-Siberian railroad. It was pretty entertaining, especially when he met a man who does a “human magnet” schtick. I had no idea how this man was doing what he was doing, though it was clear that no magnetism was involved. So I did a search and found this article explaining the topic.

Then an hour or so went by of me browsing that site. So, yeah. :) Go. Enjoy.

Did you see the episode where he went (came) to Japan?

Yeah, that is an interesting site. Thanks for the link.

I don’t remember the Japan one offhand. It’s possible I haven’t gotten to it yet. On another note, I spent a couple days earlier this week reading a book called Tune in Tokyo, about a gay man from North Carolina who spends some time in Japan teaching English. I thought about you the entire time. :)
