So I’m not really overly fond of REM. They’ve had a couple decent tunes, but…eh. Mostly they’re just sort of there. I do like “Losing My Religion”, however, both the song and the video. And so it was that I found this particular video to be fascinating. Have a look, and a listen!

Certainly interesting, and very different in emotional tone, just as it differs in harmonic tone. It brings up complex questions of linkage between the two, and how they’re connected in the human psyche. Either way, though, I think I’ll stick with the original, for now.
