Way to Go, Canada!

So Canada has stepped up and eliminated their penny, something they’d said before they would do. Good for Canada! That was a sensible thing to do. I’ve written before (and here, and here), about how we need to ditch our penny. Hopefully we can take a queue from our neighbor to the north and do so. Pennies serve absolutely no useful purposes, cost far more to make than they are worth and are a pointless form of currency.
