So Doctor Who is having its 50th anniversary this year. There’s much celebration going on. I thought I’d cover a bit of it, and yes, I plan to get onto my post about the Inauguration, but I’m too tired from work right now.
Anyhow, beginning with BBC America, they are showing one adventure each from the 11 Doctors over the course of the next 11 months. Up first, “The Aztecs”, a First Doctor story. No news yet on what the other stories will be, though the one for the Eighth Doctor should be an easy guess.
Next up, there’s a series of e-books by various authors being released. First up, A Big Hand For The Doctor by Eoin Coffer. It comes out here in just a couple days.
Finally rounding out the events, at least for now, Big Finish have announced a special story called “The Light at the End”. This story will star Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Louise Jameson, Sarah Sutton, Nicola Bryant, Sophie Aldred, India FIsher and Geoffrey Beevers, as well as other, mysterious unknown actors. It sounds like it should be plenty of fun!
That’s it for news for now, more as I get it.
